Esther is without a doubt one of the loveliest dentists we have ever come across. She saw my 94-year-old grandad on Wednesday morning as an emergency when he was in a lot of pain, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful for the care she gave him.My grandad has mobility difficulties and uses a wheelchair, and Esther went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, understood exactly what was happening and felt completely at ease throughout the appointment. She was incredibly gentle, patient and kind with him.She was able to remove the tooth that was causing the problem and made sure he was treated that day because she didn’t want to leave him in pain. That meant such a huge amount to both of us.On the way home, my grandad kept talking about how lovely Esther and the dental nurse had been and how relieved he felt. They made what could have been a really difficult and stressful experience feel calm and reassuring.Esther’s kindness, compassion and gentle manner made such a huge difference to my grandad that day. We genuinely cannot thank her enough. An absolutely wonderful dentist who clearly cares so much about her patients. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Esther and Yulia were amazing when my son had to go for a filling. He was very nervous and they went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and explained everything they were doing to me as they went along. Lovely people and nice practice. Highly recommend!

Just recovering from having 2 teeth out over the last week, like most people I’m not the best at the dentist … however I was with Jennifer and Steph and that’s a whole different ball game. They were both fantastic! Jennifer talked me through it all and Steph putting me at ease. Both not only professional but also so friendly, understandings and helpfulFor me they were brilliant… thank you both so much for making having teeth out bearable

Esther the dentist and nurse Karen took good care of me. I had to have an extraction and I have had bad experience in the past. They reassured me during the whole process and taking it one step at time. Thanks. Your aftercare was great. Even a phone call from the dentist the following day to check on me. Well done. 😁

Dr Zaman took my wisdom tooth out in no less than 3 minutes today! What an absolute pleasure it was. He made sure I was calm, gave me reassurance and his overall service was 10/10. Also a shoutout to Nurse Maria who was very helpful. Highly recommend Dr Zaman! Thank you

I have been coming to wensleydale for 50+ years. I have has some lovely dentists/ dental nurses in that time. I have been today to have a tooth out. My dentist is Jennifer and dental nurse is Steph. I have a phobia of dentists but they make you feel so at ease. They make sure you are comfortable and talk you through everything they are doing. I couldn't believe how quick my tooth came out. I never felt a thing. They make coming to the dentist so much easier as they understand what I am like. I can't praise them enough.

Jennifer And Steph are amazing they put you at ease straight away and I now enjoy going to the dentist (apart from the cost). The bedside manner of both Jennifer and Steph is brilliant, Jennifer explains everything she is doing and tells you all about the treatment from start to finish. They are both very sociable and always ask what I have been doing and holidays and such like. They have turned my wife's perception of dentists around and she no longer needs to be worried about going. AMAZING A*

I was really nervous to see Gulab today, I really don’t know why!? He was great, thorough, professional and very friendly. He offered me some anaesthetic gel prior to treatment but I didn’t need it. My teeth feel and look amazing. Thank you and see you in 6 months. 🩷

I have been with Wensleydale Dental for just over 50 years and most recently (last 10 ish years) with Gulab as my hygienist.Gulab is an excellent hygienist! Supported by Bex. Gulab recently put a replacement crown on a front tooth and did an excellent job. Also, you are able to speak to reception when you call the practice, which is very beneficial.

I visited Jess and Fatima for my hygienist appointment yesterday which I hate having done. They were so kind and reassuring, told me exactly what they were going to do and did it swiftly and expertly. Probably the best hygienist I have ever seen, thank you so much girls.

Jessica has been my hygienist for many years, she and Fatima are simply the best! Their expertise, kindness and consideration cannot be overstated. They make a somewhat potentially uncomfortable experience worthwhile.

I have been a patient at Wensleydale for 25 years. Recently, I had an issue with the service being offered so wrote a complaint letter. Laura dealt with it perfectly. She showed me care, understanding, and treated me professionally. She resolved my issue and booked me in to see Hamza. This was the first time I'd seen this particular dentist. I am a disabled patient and can struggle sometimes to get to the dentists office. He clearly explained the options of treatment for my teeth (within my budget) and I came away knowing exactly what to do next. He showed me care, describing my options at a level I could understand and treated me respectfully. I look forward to seeing him again. Credit should also go to Yulia, his dental assistant who was also caring towards me. Thankyou all so much for your support and understanding. A positive outcome for me.

I chose to have my teeth straightened at Wensleydale using Spark. Ines and Nan were my dentists and they were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly personal and friendly which made the whole experience great! Ines was really knowledgeable and realistic about what my teeth would look like after treatment while also giving my advice about other dental queries. Nan was so lovely and great to chat to and always bought a smile to my face. Both were gentle with treatments if I had any sensitivity or pain.Overall, I am so glad that I had them through this whole process! Thank you!

I have been a patient with Wensleydale for over 47 years. At 67 I still have my own teeth, a few caps, crowns and fillings. I have witnessed the practice develop. What impresses me most is the adoption of the latest technology. The care has always been second to none. I feel I have a strong relationship with Patrick and Gulab and their assistants. I trust their judgment and try to follow their advice.

We have just been for our 6 month check up once again & I only have praise for the team at Wensleydale. I always see Esther and Nan who are absolutely amazing. Their care and compassion is superb as is their medical knowledge both on dentistry and other areas and how this could impact on teeth and gums and what to do to rectify this. I would absolutely not go anywhere else.

Work done by Gulab and Jana and although I understand people can have reservations about the cost, to be able to smile again in a photo with confidence has definitely been worth it. Very informative and talk you through each stage of the process. You only get one set of (adult) teeth so best to invest in them and look after them. Would recommend.

From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcome and cared for by a team that is not only professional but also genuinely kind and attentive.A special thank you to Hamza, Maria, Yasmin, Joanna, Yulia, Laura and Dave — each of you contributed to making my visit smooth, comfortable. I routinely go to the dentist for general check ups and always feel slightly nervous. I came today for a small amount of treatment and was so impressed with all the staff . Everything was clearly explained to me, I was continually put at ease and reassured. Thank you so much Pedro, Sirjana and all the receptionists.

Pedro did my root canal and for weeks I was dreading it. He was brilliant. Made sure it was completely numb and talked me through it all. If you are anxious Pedro is your man! He also has a kind way and a good sense of humour. I highly recommend him. I even emailed to say thank you. The reception lady could be nicer to people though! When you are anxious you really need a bit of warmth and friendliness on arrival. She is quite rude.

This is the first dental practice I have had a good experience with and I highly recommend this place!I have always been nervous and put off going to a dentist after a bad experience many years ago. I am thrilled to say I was very happy with my results and was at ease after my first visit. I was seen by Hamza and Maria, and I am so grateful for them as they really made me feel comfortable and at ease the whole appointment. I also took my 6month old daughter for her first time and they were amazing with us. I even booked my next check up the same day! Highly recommend and very friendly staff!

I recently had a crown fitted at Wensleydale by Esther, and have to say that she and Nan make a great team! They explained the procedure at each stage in great detail, making me feel completely at ease throughout. The only painful part was the bill at the end, but having been informed of the cost beforehand, I guess I can't really complain!

I've been with this dental practice for over 37 year's and never had a problem with their fantastic service and staff, towards me and my daughter who's been coming here close to 20 year's.Was seen a few days ago by our regular and long standing dentist Marina and her lovely friendly assistant Yulia, who gave us both an excellent service. Regarding the wonderful Marina, if Carlsberg could do dentists, Marina would probably be the best dentist in the world.

My two daughters consulted Mr Gulab Singh, and he provided complete dental care. He addressed all the aspects in a very caring manner. Kids had interventions (filling & extraction), which happened in a smooth manner, purely because of Mr Gulab Singh's exceptional capability of dealing with kids. The nurse (Joanna) was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your amazing service.

Unfortunately, I've had issues with my teeth over the years but I have found Gulab to be professional, amicable and good at his job. When I've needed an early appointment he's made this possible and his efforts are very much appreciated. Gulab also makes an effort to find out if there's anything I want to tell him about my dental health - or health in general where this matters. Excellent chap and the nurse that assists him is top class. Five stars 🤩

I contacted Wensleydale for a second opinion as I was unhappy with the options (and previous service) provided by my then dentist and was given an appointment with Patrick. This is without doubt the best decision I ever made. Patrick talked me through multiple options, taking the time to explain each one in detail and the cost involved. In February we started the work and last week I got my new bridge which I am so happy with - I can finally eat normally again. Thank you Patrick and Wensleydale, I can't thank you enough. Definitely 5* all round.

Victoria has been my dentist for a number of years. I followed her and Catherine from Peterborough and wouldn’t go to anyone else. They are so kind and patient and go over and beyond to make you comfortable. I’ve recently had a root canal and I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing. Victoria knows I get claustrophobic and she was so patient with me. Catherine was on hand with the stress ball. Thank you ladies xx

I have registered with Wensleydale Dental Practice few years ago and been unable to find any place that can match them in regards to the quality of service provided. Yes, they are just people and recently charged me twice for the same service, but with no issues I got a refund. Let's be honest, we all make mistakes. The best example of the quality of service is my friend who by two different dentist was told that she needs to remove tooth or even two in an effort to cure the infection. On my strong recommendation she visited the Wensleydale Dental Practice. Few years down the line I remember only bits and pieces. One thing is that after hygienist visit she bled like crazy and was complaining about it. Funny enough, just 2 more visits and control one... guess what. Infection was cured and she didn't remove a single tooth.I would not call them perfect but to be honest I would not trust a different dentist. It is an hour drive for me to get there, but for more than 10 years no one else could match their service... and I did try the best places based on Google reviews.Highly recommended.

I have found Wensleydale practice very helpful and friendly. The children and I all regularly attend to see Charlotte.Charlotte is always very friendly and helps the children feel relaxed and at ease. When my youngest child took a nasty fall and banged his jaw/tooth, the receptionist staff were fantastic and got him seen straight away. We obviously could not see our regular dentist, but the dentist we saw was brilliant and helped reassure my son and me.5 stars from me
